With air; for 2h; Chloridotetraphenylporphyrinatocobalt (III)(ClIIITPP) was obtained by oxidation of cobalt(II)tetraphenylporphyrinate (IITPP) with air oxygen(bubbling for 2 h) and addition of hydrochloric acid(IITPP : HCl ~ 1 : 1). II was synthesized according to the procedure described in [10]. The solventwas absolute ethanol 99.9%. The oxidation reactionof npropyl mercaptan with chloridotetraphenylporphyrinatocobalt(III) in absolute ethanol wascarried out by rapid mixing of deoxygenated PrSHand ClIIITPP solution
