60% With acetic acid; for 24h;Reflux; Inert atmosphere; 1,2-bis(4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)ethane-1,2-dione (7.90 g, 22.8 mmol) and 3.3 g (11.6 mmol) of <strong>[4506-66-5]1,2,4,5-benzenetetraamine tetrahydrochloride</strong> were dissolved in 800 ml of acetic acid, and the mixture was refluxed and stirred under a nitrogen atmosphere for 24 hours. After cooling, the mixture was distilled under reduced pressure to remove acetic acid. After cooling, the mixture was extracted with water and dichloromethane, and further washed with distilled water, sodium carbonate solution and brine solution. Next, it was dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate and filtered to obtain intermediate a 5.3g (60.0percent).
