After 40 min, solvent was removed in vacuo. The residue was purified via flash column (EtOAc/Heptane«0-20-25%, v/v) to give 3-[5-(2,3-Dichloro-phenyl)-pyridirv3-ylJ- propionic acid methyl ester (101 mg, 0.326 mmol, 43 % yield). ESl-MS mlr. 310[M+1f; 1H NMR (CDCI3, 400 MHz) δ 2.71 (t, J - 7.6 Hz, 2H), 3.05 (t, J * 7.6 Hz, 2H)1 3.70 (s, 3H), 7.23 (dd, J « 7.6, 1.8 Hz, 1H), 7.30 (t. J » 7.6 Hz, 1H)1 7.53 (dd, J * 7.6, 1.6 Hz, 1H), 7.63 (s, 1H). 8.52 (S. 2H).
