YieldReaction ConditionsOperation in experiment
With trichlorophosphate; at 80.0℃; for 2.0h; Step B: 2,4-Dichloro-6-nitroquinolineA mixture of 3 g of 6-nitroquinoline-2,4-diol in 40 mL POCl3 was heated at 80 0C for 2 hr. The reaction mixture was cooled to RT and the volatiles removed under vacuum. The residue was carefully quenched with ice/water. The solids were filtered and washed with water, dried to afford 3.2 g of the title compound which was used without further purification.
