98% With trifluoroacetic acid; In isopropyl alcohol; at 85℃; for 0.5h;Inert atmosphere; General procedure: To a solution of 13a-u (0.4 mmol) and <strong>[13790-39-1]4-chloro-6,7-dimethoxyquinazoline</strong> (0.09g, 0.4 mmol) in isopropanol (10 mL) were added two drops of trifluoroacetic acid (TFA). The reaction was refluxed at 85 oC for 30 min. Upon completion, the reaction mixture is cooled to 0 oC in an ice bath. The precipitated solid was filtered and washed with cold methanol and dried to give the title compounds 14a-u.
