The reaction mixture was stirred at this temperature for 2 hours. The reaction mixture was allowed to reach room temperature over night. The reactionmixture was poured into HCI (lmol/L) and stirred for 15 minutes. Then the pH was adjusted to7 by addition of saturated aqueous sodium bicarbonate solution. The aqueous layer was extracted three times with ethyl acetate, the combined organic layers were washed with water and brine, filtered through a silicone coated filter and concentrated under reduced pressure. The crude product was purified by flash chromatography.Yield: 180 mg of the 90% pure target compound.1H-NMR (400 MHz, DMSO-d6) O [ppm] = 1.42 (s, 6H), 5.61 (s, IH), 7.77 (d, 1H), 8.98 (d, 1H).
