YieldReaction ConditionsOperation in experiment
With caesium carbonate; In N,N-dimethyl acetamide; at 110℃; Example 7A methyl 2-(5-bromo-6-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)pyridin-2-yl)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline-8-carboxylate A solution of methyl 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline-8-carboxylate (1.00 g), EXAMPLE 1C (1.68 g) and cesium carbonate (2.56 g) was stirred together in N,N-dimethylacetamide (10 mL) at 110 C. overnight. The reaction was cooled, diluted with ethyl acetate (50 mL) and washed with water (2*25 mL) and brine (25 mL), dried over magnesium sulfate, filtered, and concentrated. Silica gel chromatography using 1-30% ethyl acetate in hexanes provided the title compound.
