98% With caesium carbonate; In N,N-dimethyl-formamide; at 20℃; for 2h;Inert atmosphere; To a mixture of HJ-3-93 (1.66 g, 5.75 mmol) and Cs2CO3 (2.25 g, 6.90 mmol) in anhydrous DMF (20 mL) at room temperature was added iodomethane (0.43 mL, 6.90 mmol) slowly under argon atmosphere. The resulting mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2 h. Then the reaction mixture was diluted with ethyl acetate and washed with 1 N HCl, water and brine. The organic layer was dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate and concentrated in vacuo. The target compound HJ-3-123 [71742-42-2] was isolated by flash chromatography as a white solid on silica gel, by using Et2O:Hexane (1:99) as an eluent. Yield: 1.71 g (98%). 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) delta 7.57 (s, 2H), 3.86 (s, 3H); 13C NMR (100 MHz, CDCl3) delta 152.4, 137.1, 130.3, 86.3, 60.7.
