98% for 3h;Reflux; N-Acetylpyrrolidine (3n).[11] Pyrrolidine hydrochloride (1.08 g, 0.010 mol) and trimethyl orthoacetate (1.80 g, 0.015 mol) were combined in a 25 mL round bottomed flask and heated under gentle reflux while being stirred for 3 hours. The homogeneous solution was then evaporated under reduced pressure to yield 1.11 g (98%) of a pale oil.
