Home Life Science Inhibitors/Agonists Apoptosis LTBR
The activation of the LTβ receptor (LTBR) signaling in ATII cells triggers the activation of kinase NIK through nonclassical nuclear factor-kappaB (NF-κB) signaling. Inhibiting LTBR signaling has the effect of curbing the formation of broncho-associated lymphoid tissue and decreasing the apoptosis of alveolar epithelial cells, thereby promoting alveolar regeneration. The LTBR signaling pathway is critical in various processes, including lymphatic organogenesis, tissue regeneration, organ development, tumorigenesis, and the immune response to pathogenic infections.
